Medical Treatment
As an international employee of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority you are entitled to medical coverage of all medical expenses for you and your dependants in accordance with Saudi Labor Law and SRCA policy. (Does not include vision or dental).
Leave Time
As an employee of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, you are entitled to receive 30 days annual leave and all governmental holidays. This allows ample opportunity to take extended trips to your home country or to see the world and experience international travel at its best.
Airline Tickets
As an International employee of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, you (and up to 3 dependents) will be entitled to both Initial Hire and Repatriation tickets to and from your point of origin. In addition, each year you will be entitled to a free round-trip annual leave ticket to your point of origin. This is yet another way that working at the Saudi Red Crescent Authority enhances your travel opportunities
Housing Allowance
As an International employee of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority, you are entitled to receive furnished accommodations or a housing allowance (some restrictions apply).
Potentially Tax-Free Salary
In keeping with Saudi Law, no income taxes are collected by the Saudi Arabian government. This means that your paycheck comes to you and you keep every riyal you earn!!! (US$ 1 = Saudi Riyal 3.75) Imagine receiving a paycheck with no deductions for income taxes!!!
Whether your salary will be free of taxes from your own country depends upon your home country's taxation laws. The majority of expatriates working within the Kingdom are enjoying tax-free status.
If you do qualify to be tax-free from your home country, this is the equivalent of receiving a pay raise equal to your income tax rate, possibly as much as a 40% increase automatically!
Transportation Allowance
As an International employee of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority you are entitled to receive a monthly travel allowance to help offset the expense of obtaining transportation.
Severance Pay
As an International employee of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority you are entitled to receive severance pay upon completion of your contract and subsequent repatriation. This is a one-time payment made upon your final departure from the SRCA and is accrued throughout your tenure within the SRCA. Severance pay accrues at a rate of 15 days pay for each of your first five years and 30 days pay for the sixth and subsequent years. Payable after completion of minimum 2 years of service.
